Kizzy: The Monad Crypto Casino Story. Terminating PvP and Deciding Our Future
This is a formal notice to everyone who ever believed in social media betting and to anyone searching for a Monad crypto casino.
Background: Kizzy began in the fall of 2023 as a Solana Hyperdrive hackathon project with one clear mission: prove that betting on social media metrics was possible. We wanted to become the DraftKings of Social Media. When we began, the prediction-market space was still extremely sparse and crypto twitter cared about very different things back then. After the hackathon, we found a small set of amazing backers through Solana Colosseum, built hard through 2024 with no AI, and ultimately chose Monad as our home.
Why We Built a Monad Crypto Casino
In March 2024 we discovered Monad. Monad's technical reputation, institutional focus, and aim towards true decentralization made them the most obvious long-term ecosystem for a high-performance betting product. It wasn't hard for us to go all in. We needed time to spend 2024 building a safe and secure fully custodial prediction market, securing gambling licenses, and preparing for what we expected would be a huge real-money launch. By late 2025 we were live on Monad mainnet as one of the first true Monad prediction markets focused on social media.
We launched with parimutuel (PvP) markets on major creators, a $100k Purple K reward program backed by a Monad Foundation grant, and pure conviction that social metrics could power deep liquidity. Going into Mainnet, we knew Testnet was heavily propped up by sybil and passing users. However, nothing could have prepared us for how intense the reality check on PvP would be in 2026.
The Harsh Reality of Social Media Betting on Monad
Mainnet hit the PvP product hard. With real money involved, pressure on the markets became way more intense. Bots swarmed every Twitter market. Even accounts averaging millions of views got manipulated up a few million views at a time. YouTube was cleaner but attracted far less volume. On the other hand, our gambling license structure that we spent building in 2024-25 turned out to be a huge issue: we couldn't let users trade in and out of positions, KYC, geofencing, and early payment limitations crushed conversion. When the big grant backed $100,000 reward campaign ended, retention collapsed. We had to face the truth: so much of Kizzy was very wrong. Pure PvP was flawed. Metrics were manipulable, establishing 2 sides of liquidity was nearly impossible, and the product had become a temporary reward machine rather than a sustainable game.
The Pivot: Becoming The Monad Crypto Casino
Since February 2026 we rebuilt from the ground up:
- Completely reworked onboarding and regulatory structure with way more crypto payments → much higher first-deposit conversion
- Launched a first of its kind house-backed social media game and classic casino titles → real volume and healthier margins
- Introduced weekly in-app competitions → dramatically lower retention cost
Today, casino activity has completely overtaken the old PvP markets. PvP is effectively retired. Kizzy is now a Monad crypto casino with Social Media Roulette at its core, surrounded by popular casino games.
Roadmap: What's Next for Kizzy
Over the coming months you will see:
- A full sportsbook
- Dynamic referral rewards
- A complete overhaul of the ranking and Purple K system with lottery-style activations (rank will start working again, and be huge for players who have tons of purple K)
Our goal remains the same: finish a complete, high-quality offering within one year of real-money operations, then scale and focus everyone's attention on collecting purple K.

- Risk-taking behavior among internet users continues to rise.
- And crypto still rewards speculation on under-regulated assets.
These structural trends are why we still believe the most-watched media on earth will eventually carry deep betting markets, and why a properly built Monad crypto casino has a real shot at owning that category.
We’re still in the trenches like most surviving Monad projects: fighting for users, protecting capital, and iterating faster than the market moves against us. Differentiating as a casino is hard. Every operator is competing for the same players with bigger bonuses.
